MONTE CRISTO SLIDERS
If you’ve ever been to Disney and indulged in one of their Monte Crísto Sandwiches, you know how sweet that memory is!
These Monte Crísto Sliders will take you back to that happy place or, if you’ve never tried one, create a new happy memory in your very own home.
Perfect for Spring, serve these sliders for Easter brunch or as part of a Mother’s Day Breakfast.
I know the original Monte Crísto at Disney serves their sandwich with a side of raspberry preserve, but it’s SO delicious with a little baked into the sandwich!
You could always serve with a side of preserve for anyone who wanted a little extra.
I really think the raspberry flavor sends this sandwich over the top. Don’t even think about making these sandwiches without it! I bet you can’t eat just one!
WHAT IS A MONTE CRISTO SANDWICH?
A Monte Cristo is traditionally a fried sandwich with ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese dipped in egg and cooked until golden with a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top.
A Monte Cristo is a spin–off of the Croque Monsieur.
This version is brushed with an egg instead of dipped in egg and fried.
